This isn't the first time I've blogged about Jonathan Papelbon and I'm sure it won't be the last. The Philadelphia Phillies suffered another brutal loss on Sunday in which they gave up three runs in the ninth inning and lost in the 11th. Closer Jonathan Papelbon was once again unavailable because of "soreness." Papelbon said everything was sore and was a result of, "the daily grind of the season."
DAILY GRIND OF THE SEASON!?!? It's MAY Paps! So sick and tired of this guy. This is the second brutal loss the Phillies have suffered because Papelbon was "unavailable." I'm not sure how this team pays a guy $13 million a year and he's ever unavailable unless his arm falls off. If this guy is sore now whats going to happen come July? The Phillies need to just dump this guy. What's the point of having the highest paid closer in baseball if you don't have a bullpen to get to him. Trade this guy at the deadline. But who would take his RIDICULOUS contract? Thanks again Ruin Tomorrow Junior.
