In an interview with a Dallas radio station Owner, President and GM of the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones said, "We should have been knocking on the door and we haven't and I have no excuses, it starts here. But we have not. i know that to the extend we have a healthy Romo, our best chance to get back to the Super Bowl is a healthy Romo." Jones also said there there are some highly-priced contracts the team shouldn't have completed and the franchise would have won more titles if not for current financial system of the NFL.
Jerry Jones just does not get it. He's not a football guy, he's a businessman. His biggest problem is he's so egotistical that he can't admit it. HE is responsible for the current state of the franchise he owns. The Cowboys are 136-136 since 1997. They are the epitome of mediocrity. Jerry Jones just wants his team in the news. He wants to hear Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless talk about them on First Take. He wants them to be the top story on SportsCenter and thats really all that matters to him. He even said this year after the Broncos loss that he was happy because he gave the fans an exciting game. What's best for his franchise would him stepping down as GM.
Lets address Tony Romo. If Jones thinks Tony Romo will lead this team to a Super Bowl the fans should should take him on to that giant star at mid-fild at Jerry's World and shoot him. I've said it once and I'll say it until the day I die. TONY ROMO DOES NOT HAVE A CLUTCH BONE IN HIS BODY. How many interceptions in the fourth quarter of big games does it take for you to realize, maybe this guy doesn't have what it takes. Not to mention this.

PS. I love blogging about how dumb and stupid and horrible the Cowboys are.
